The research effort at Claret is in-house, independent and divided into two complimentary fields of expertise: fundamental analysis and quantitative analysis.
Fundamental analysis is based on conservative investment principles that have been tried and tested through time. This approach aims to determine the fair market value of firms so as to identify opportunities when they can be acquired at a discount, with a given margin of safety.
Quantitative analysis develops stock selection models by identifying fundamental or technical factors which have influenced stock returns in the past.
