Canadian Tire retailer imitates the grocer Loblaw and floats real estate worth 3.5 billion dollars on the stock market. While unlocking the value of such assets has boosted the stock of these two retailers, it remains to be seen whether the newly created real estate investment trusts (REIT) will fare any better?
